+1!
After spending a measly month in jail for a speeding ticket you than realize what "hard time" is... Believe me when I tell you, I want nothing more from life than to be a Billionaire but if I had to spend 10 years in prison for it I would not think about it for a micro second!!!!
Not taking away anything from Vik as he does deserve time but 10-12 is just absurd...

Having grown up in the car biz, I've seen way too many crooks get away with a slap on the hand, only to come back 2 years later and do it all again. Let this 12 years be a warning to those aiming to do bad. His actions hurt a lot more people than just big-bad VW credit. I know someone personally who was damaged tot he tune of over $200k by Vik. It almost cost him his business.

He said he paced me around 180 in a 60. His whole statement was full of shit and my lawyer caught him on it... Two things screwed me... First being I wasn't even in the Toronto region, it was Durham just east, where they are fvcking crazy... The second was, the prosecutor was asking 6 damn months because my list of violations was 11 pages long and he even said the printer ran out of paper (lol). So when the judge saw that my license has been suspended twice for 6 months, he said he had no choice. I guess I had it coming but at the same time what did I expect with a NSX at 19...
What they should do to Vik is make him completely bankrupt and take away all of his money. That way when he gets out he has to start from the bottom. If he was to do a second violation of the same type he would be SCREWED.

That's crazy man. I still think 1 month is jail is out of logic.
I got caught in Montreal at 120km/h on a 60km/h zone. Got a ~1400$ ticket and 11 points off. Had a US license so I only had to pay the ticket.
Funny thing is I had just got a '09 Cayenne Turbo S and my friend wanted to test drive it. I was in his '00 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8. He was easilly doing 180km/h. What do you think he did when he saw the cop? He went faster. I had to pull over. Old Jeeps and high speed don't go well together.
As far as the Keylian's concerned: I am sure there is a lot going on we don't know. One thing's for sure: VW made sure he got screwed well.
