I myself have posted pics of my cars, in the snow, the rain on dirt roads, getting pelted with road rash rock chips, advise that I re-spry instead of 3m...etc etc..

If these postings cause people to shy away from a car due to minor incidents..so be it..but I am going to enjoy the car..and if these incidents casue for some to get a "better" deal due to a stupid CarFax report that is not properly checked out and put in to prospective..oh well...but it.. IMO that is one of the MAIN reasons we all pay to much for insurance and put these cars up on high horse pedistals..and it ends up costing us ALL money in the long run...IT IS A CAR not a human life.

It surely BREEDS the unscroplis people to HIDE incidents that truly may be of importance when purchasing a used car by pointing to a BS CarFax, claiming it is CLEAN etc etc etc..

My point is be up front, get a PPI and DONT rely on CarFax..espically just because there is no CarFax HISTORY.
Yup, totally understand where you are coming from and your reputation shows it. Being honest with the customer is always #1 priority when selling a car. Unfortunately most car dealers are not like you. Glad we have someone here who is honest and caring when it comes to customer service!

I will be contacting you or Kevin for my next purchase

^^^Agreed. I was rear ended about a month ago- the fool was looking at his GPS and didn't see the car rolling or hear me honking-- sometimes people need to take a step back and just chill and pay attention. Luckily for me I was in the Lexus and not the Aston, but its the principle...

Carfax blows, my old M3 had $14,000 worth of front end damage, repaired at the local BMW dealer with State Farm insurance.

    Still a clean carfax report

Wow... did I just start to sound like my dad there or what....
    ok pops

    back to topic

to my knowledge, lambo does not do carfax. I almost got laughed out the door at lambo of houston when I asked for a carfax on my old gallardo.

the OP is ok...thats all that matters. the car will be fine in the long run.

bingo...being too anal about a car is like not having sex with your gf so her next bf enjoys her more. I would rather buy a drivers car than a garage queen. and drivers cars gets dinged up...thats life.

and correct me if i am wrong, but the cars that are driven harder and have more miles put on them will have less things go wrong with them as opposed to the garage queens that sit and sit and sit waiting for that day when all the roads are clean and the weather is perfect to drive the car 10 miles.

Over what?? A cracked bumper from a 5 mph bump???
    Sorry, not going to happen.

I'd rather have pics all over, documenting the entire thing. This way any potential buyer won't just 'hear' that the car was in some kind of crash, not knowing all the details, and walk away.

Plus, I do not buy cars as an investment...I'll probably have 30k miles on this car by the time I sell it. So if you think I'm worried about a broken diffuser spoiling the sale, you're wrong.
I am sorry that you had the altercation but if you exercise them things will and do happen

It appears to me that you did a nice job and your honesty is commendable

    Takes care

Ouch.. at least it was a little 5mph bumper hit.
Glad you and your ride are ok.
To me its not a big deal posting this.. its a car community.. when you sell the car they will find out anyways. Plus its not that big of a deal.
