I'm not into IT at all so forgive me, but how does clicking on his YouTube vids generate him money?

Figured i'd make my first post in this thread. I've followed Robert's car channel on facebook ever since he got his Underground Lambo. I was never concerned with how he made his money or what made him so successful, i just liked seeing him rip his Gallardo around town. One thing that stands out, which nobody has mentioned yet, is the fact that he will no longer be using Underground Racing. Did anybody think it was strange that he chose that weirdo, D Wiggs and his CTD "Nasa" team, to TT his future Superleggera and Amy's current Gallardo? After Rob has praised Underground numerous times on his channel. Whats that saying? Birds of a feather...

He has an adsense account that attaches to his youtube videos. When people watch the videos, ads appear, magic happens and he gets paid a portion of the revenue.

views get traffic for ads with an adsense program which I also use and you get paid for each click of an ad.

the (magic) requires a click on the ad as it does with my adsense account on my youtube channel and blog. I pull roughly $100 a month so I have no idea what he pulls.

not to be nosy but how many clicks roughly would generate $100?
I kind of figured to get paid you have to click on the ad , at first I thought everytime somone watched the vid it generated a penny or so lol
I have a younger cousin who has like couple hundred thousand twitter followers and hes makin close to $1,500-$2,000 per month . how I dunno but ive seen somone of his statements because I thought it too was BS . When you have a clicks in the millions on buncha differnt sites the $$$$ adds up I guess .

it requires clicks on ads, not just views. The ads are related to your video content and it gets more people to click them and thus, more revenue for google and ultimately, you....... or me actually
