The only item that is 'Gallardo based' on the Sesto Elemento is the engine, it is the V10 from the LP570-4 Superleggera version ... other than that everything has been developed for the Sesto Elemento itself, keeping in mind it would be a one-off concept model ... only because of the high number of requests did Lamborghini decided to make 20 of them to try and sell them at a nice price

Problem was it would take way too much modifications to get it street legal ... it wouldn't even look close to the concept anymore, especially inside ... required airbag and other safety measures would ruin the looks, so it became a track only car, not street legal.

The fact you can't legally drive it on the open road ... and the price tag of $2,200,000 apparently didn't scare customers ... all 20 units have been sold for months already. Now I can't find any official statement on this, but it is rumored the car shown in the US would be an actual production model ?

I have seen it back in 2010 at the Paris show, and it really looks extremely aggressive in real life ... only thing I found a bit awkward was the very high stance at the back, and the rear wing with those stunning triangular exhausts makes it look even higher ... but from what I've heard from people that were allowed to drive the concept it is really 'glued' to the street.

What I also noticed back in 2010 was the fact those beautifully styled exterior rear view mirrors 'vibrate' when you close the door ... I wonder what happens at 200 mph? Now at that speed who cares what happens behind ... lol.

Some transport trucks use lift gates. Its what we used when we transported clients lower vehicles. This one has ramps most likely because it was a hot shot. I know George has a hot shot carrier with a lift gate. In my opinion it makes transporting a lot easier.

The back end of the car is butt ugly. From the front and the side it doesnt look that bad.

$2.2 million? Ok how about this, take it over a speed bump with no ramps or no outside help and I'll buy 10

The one shown in the US has a black transmission casings vs Red from the concept. Do you think that's the difference from the production vs concept? Don't see why they would change the color of the casing unless it was a different car.

Here's a 5 minute video of the car being unloaded, took a long time to get off the truck and up the ramp haha.
