I 99% agree with you RAW...I do think it looks good on high-end exotics like the Lambo at issue here, as well as period correct hot rods, lead sleads/Kustoms, etc. I’ve never seen a late model flat black car IN PERSON that I have liked. Plus, they look awful when they're even just slightly dirty :-/

I know she makes a lot of money but buying a car and then paying someone big $ to paint it in a color which is already offered by the factory, seems pretty damn stupid. But I'm sure she's got her reasons..
She's probably got a lot of publicity for it, which she needs to make more money so.. I'm sure she will/has made money by doing this....

Availability and "want it now" are two reasons why I see it being a different factory color this quickly.

Kim K has plenty of loot to change a finish on the car, regardless if it can had that way from the factory.
The way I look at it, it's good for the economy!
Platinum made money, the auto industry gets more buzz..
