For those who complain about car prices in their country...
Spare a thought for us poor souls in Singapore.... All prices in singapore dollars (usd1 is sgd1.277)....

very very expensive considering COE and taxes in our country, Harold.
anyway, very nice balboni w/ reiter engineering kit, perfect colour! Seen it a number of times when it was still with its previous owner..

Prices are insane in Thailand as well. A freakin Honda Accord can run close to $100k usd

i probably think Britain has the cheapest - To compare:
A brand new MAYBACH 57 SALOON 6.0 4dr Auto cost around £317.670 In England
A brand new Maybach of the same spec in America would cost $376,300. Now to convert that back to GDP
376 300 U.S. dollars = 241 869.135 British pounds
Thats devastating how different the prices are in the two regions. This is mainly because of tax through shipping for Maybach. So countries over in Asia have it hard for them

Price for a VW GTI here in Japan is ¥4,400,000 or $53.5K USD. If purchased in the US it would only be $27K…just imagine what an MB Black Series or 458 would cost.

Here in Singapore a new Golf GTI is SGD213k or USD167k....I dont mind moving to Japan... Oh yes, here in Singapore we can only use the car for 10 years from the date it was registered..... Arrrggghhhh
