Roadsters do look good yes. But putting on the top will piss you off.
For that reason I'd get the coupe.

food for though. buy the roadster, take the toupe roof and put it somewhere in your garage and never ever put it on. and then just drive the roadster when its nice and sunny out. thats how i plan on using my roadster

You wont want to take the Murci out in the rain anyways, so go convertible. Why not?

same price
2005 Murci roadster black/black/black - egear - >10k miles
2003 Murci coupe titanium/black/chrome - manual - 18k miles
I chose the 2003 because of how often I planned to drive the car. . . and I lived in Southern California. Roadster is bad ass, but it's reasonability of use is low, even for someone like me.

Since you are living in the UK, I would definitely suggest the coupe! The roadster top is the biggest PITA as others have mentioned. However, I have heard of an aftermarket carbon fiber roof that is available (costly, but an option). Apparently, the aftermarket roof is pretty simple to put on and it doesn't take two people and 30 minutes like it does on the standard roadster roof. If it were me, I would probably go for the coupe for the roof reason alone. The roadster does look incredible and probably a bit nicer than the coupe, but the coupe is still gorgeous and probably one of the nicest cars on the road (in my opinion). I understand what some people are saying about weather and to just drive it in nice weather, but I feel like those days are far and few between. My guess is you would end up taking it out on a fair weather day and probably get stuck in a rain storm, struggling to put the top on. The coupe means you won't have to worry. At the end of the day, it comes down to what you want.

Roadster. Looks better and is way more fun with the roof gone!
The tendency is to push it as far as you can!
