Default The Startup Car / Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 / Reliability

**First Post Warning/Potential Forum Faux Paus/Apologies In Advance**

    Hello L4P,

This will be the first of many contributory posts after lurking for a bit. I've read around the forum, in terms of Murc reliability. My question is: how long it will take -if I have a low mileage used 07-09 Murc that develops issues on a road trip- for a local shop to fix common issues and get the vehicle back on the road?

    Thanks in advance for input.

What type of problems are you thinking of?
    What type of "local shop"?

A clutch job is ~30 hours of labor.

I dont own a Lambo but I'm not sure how comfortable I would be letting just anyone work on it. I would think a rollback and a rental car would be in order if the car was not running! Just a scratch on the car from some shade tree mechanic could cost you hundreds so imagine what it may cost if they screw something up. And it's not like you would have any recourse against a small repair shop. I wouldn't take the chance.

    Hi Nick,

I was thinking issues like Clutch/E-Gear and we'd be working with one of the two local 'official' Lamborghini dealerships.

Are you thinking of taking a road trip in the murcie, and you just want to make sure if something happens you have somewhere to take it to?

If so, do not drive the Bull. Rent a car, not just anyone can open up a Lamborghini

I think any certified ASE Mechanic from Kia or Hyundai could figure it out.
