Thread: Underground Racing TT Gallardos vs AMS Alpha Omega 1500+ whp GTR **VIDEO**

We have been waiting a long time to get the chance to line up with one of the fastest GTR's on the planet. We are not in competition with AMS or the GTR's from a business perspective, but I know a lot of people have wanted to see some of our TT Gallardos line up with one of the biggest power GTR's, with experienced drivers in both, and we got our chance. No doubt this GTR was a beast and it was a great race. This is the GTR that holds the current world quarter mile record of 8.62 @ 173. These are Underground Racing Stage 1 Race Versions making 1500+ whp, and these races happened at the Texas Speed Syndicate where an Underground Racing Gallardo won the event. Props to the guys at AMS for bringing this monster out to play, and we all enjoyed meeting them and hanging out. More event videos coming soon!

From the rudimentary knowledge I have about twin turbo's; I believe it is because of 4 wheel drive and v10 in the gallardo. Easier to control the power and better to mod.

I wonder what all the people who were talking trash about Underground Racing in the race between the tt gallardo and gtr in Russia are going to say now lol

I imagine some interesting conversation is going to stir from this. I'd be interested to hear the gearing, trim of the cars, etc. I know the SL's are full interior, not sure on the GTR. I'm a TT G fan myself, but it's incredible, I've seen interior videos of not even the Omega, but the Alpha, and the car looked blisteringly fast. Jamie and Peters car both just took off away from it, and this is a step above the Alpha.

Also, Jamie's car is THAT car for me. That is a perfect car. Give me that, and I'll drive a civic daily, and life would be good.

yeah Qtip, i can't remember where i saw the video at, but people were saying how UGR was trash since the gtr with less hp was beating it =/
