Solid writeup! I hadn't considered the GMT-IIc (the "daily driver" on my wrist is a 2-tone Yachtmaster), but I might if one gets offered my way at a good price.
When I'm not here, I'm slinging IT infrastructure or gone golfing

Very nice watch. Rolex is just a classic watch, never gets old!
Not feeling the lume, but other than that it really looks good and sounds like the perfect DD.

I just set it by the window in my office so it could absorb some sunlight, and then set up a tripod, turned off the lights and shut the shades and snapped the shot. I never shot a night shot like this but it looks like a several second exposure due to the travel of the second hand which is blurred.
It's not like you are going to stop traffic with the thing, but it does glow.
There is no reset button.

That's great for just being set on a window ledge. I find I have to feed my watch some bulb light if I want decent lume overnight. I guess that's due to the fact that it spends most of the day in darkness hidden under my shirt cuff.
