    Default Track Days in Ny/Nj?

Anyone know of where/when there are track days in the NY/NJ area that anyone can go to with their cars? I often went to Willow Springs for track days, pay $x and get to drive my own car on a track for the day.

Looking for something like that but in the NY/NJ area now that I've moved back east.

    Thanks.

Summit Point, Watkins Glen, New Jersey Motorsports Park, Pocono Raceway, BeaveRun, and Lime Rock are some of the best tracks in the region. Check out MotorsportReg.com : Online registration management tools for driving and social events as many groups that organize use them for registration. The PCA and BMWCCA chapters organize Drivers Education track events; not quite an open track day, but still track time at a reasonable cost.

These East Coast tracks have some nice elevation change, which is a blast for those used to flatter tracks.

    Hope this helps.

One of the best track day groups around is the Sport Car Drivers Assoc. They run at NJMP, Lime Rock, NH and The Glen. Great group varied cars. Great instruction. Sports Car Driving Association - Performance Driving in a Safe and Controlled Environment
