Check out the sound of this CTS-V with a 427ci small block engine putting out 1000hp at the crank. This car was the fifth quickest of day on the track at the Speed Ventures Track Day Event on 8/14/2011 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA.

That looks like a Beast!

You called it exactly the same way I did today when I was having lunch with the owner/driver of the car. He agreed, "It is a beast and a challenge to drive but it is SOOOO much FUN!!!!! He owns other race purpose built racecars that are light weight and very aerodynamic but his CTS-V challenges him to push the limits of the car every time he drives it. This is a racecar that you just can't throw it in to the corners, it takes both finess and brute force to push this car around the track and that is what makes it so fun to drive.

We will be back out at Auto Club Speedway in two weeks so look for more videos of the Track Terror in the near future.
