Vintage racing: Cars driving around track before Concours d'elegance
There was an outstanding event at Michigan International Speedway this past weekend, which consisted of vintage race cars driving around the race track before making an appearance at the Concours d'elegance.
I got to wander in the pits and the garage area, and get footage Indy cars from the 1950's and before, a Lotus Eleven, Ford GT40 Continuation, a Pace Car from 1920, and many others.
Here is the first clip, showing '50s Indy cars up close. Turn up your speakers!!!

The older Indy Cars are really neat. The evolution over the last 102 years is astounding.

^^^Astounding indeed! That would be an incredible event to see all of those Indy 500 winners on the track from the past 100 years.
