If you don't mind, can you tell us how much that was? I want to get into spec E30 or Spec Miata with NASA eventually.

    Thanks

Holy air time batman! I think a spec miata would be such a fun track toy to have. I just can't get over taking a super nice car to the track with all the abuse that goes on there. I want something that looks better with chunks of melted rubber on the paint and I can buy a replacement fender for 50 bucks off ebay.

How much do typical spec miata's run these days?

Oops, the CDN was pointing to the wrong files. Should be working now.

I have a high HP car as well, and while they are both fun to drive...nothing beats a 2000lb car momentum car!

OTD, I paid $7k for mine, I've seen them upwards of 30k+ for a front runner (I'm nowhere near that level).

I have a nice S4 that I set up with Ohlins, Alcons, fixed back seats, etc as a track/DD, totally a blast, but it's no race car. I spun the SM and at no time was I thinking "oh shit, I might hit a wall!", it was more like, "hmm, I wonder when I'll stop spinning". Don't like the SM fool you though, while it is one of the least expensive ways to enter wheel to wheel racing...consumables do add up!
