    Default Took the atom to the road course yesterday

    i took the atom over to MSR Houston yesterday. Car ran well. Ran the toyo R888's About 6 seconds/lap slower than the radical but ran mostly 1:44-1:45's.

    Now it needs some more power :-)

    Yes, it does have the supercharged motor. I drive it on the street all the time. It seems to be a very well sorted street car that you can cheaply take to the track.

    I have the TVR Harrop s/c on it's way. hoping for another 50-60 hp at the wheel with sc/intercooler/injector tune

    Hay Ben;

    How hard does the ATOM launch if you are really trying to take off form a stop real fast ?
    I have seen videos where they claim that it will accelerate from a dead stop to 60 mph in 2.95 seconds ?
    Does that sound correct to you ?

    What an awesome car! How's it been reliability and ownership $$$ wise? Any issues? I wouldn't think there is too much on it that can go wrong?
