    Default Start Chaos 2011 Le Mans Series at Le Castellet



    ure chaos at the start of the 2011 LMS season. The cars are ready for the start the lights go green but the Safety Car is stil on track! Crashing and wrecking behind with lots of damaged cars

    That must have been heart breaking to the drivers affected.

    Before folks start ridiculing the Pace Car Driver…my comment from another forum:

    "The pit lane is well before the start line. Shouldn't the starter ensure that the pace car has turned into pit road prior to actuating the start sequence (green light)? How could such a debacle be levied on a single individual (pace car driver)?"

    "You can clearly see a yellow flag being waved just after the last corner across from pit entrance and another along the straight across from pit exit even when the green light is displayed."

    Yes, it wasn't only the pace car drivers fault.

    However as a driver of that pace car you would think you'd have the reaction to get the fvck off the track...
