Also, talk to TTCometitione about life in the fast pit lanes. He's probably got some pretty interesting stories to tell during his stint with Honda and Ferrari. It's good to hear from someone that's been there.

Volunteering for a race team is the best way to get in if you don't know anyone. If I could also recommend, try working for a high end dealer, and when those customers take their cars to the track, you can gain valuable experience. I came out of UTI, worked for Nissan for a while, then Porsche, and now I am at a Ferrari dealer, and I am at the track all the time. It is nice because with Ferrari's challenge cars, we have that race experience and build good relationships. Many of our customers own or partner in race teams, so that is a doorway in to the racing world.

that and dont ferrari dealers check over the cars prior to a customer going to the track, like suspension set-ups and such. it'd be a good way to learn how wrong uti is in street performance class, and good way to learn how different setups effect the car.

I appreciate all the positive feedback and advice you guys have given and im going to pursue this a soon as I'm done with a few build projects I'm working on now!
