Thread: Are There Any Race Drivers On Here?

Are there any race drivers on here? I would just like to ask a few questions about getting started or whether i have left it too late now to get into the game at 16?

We race. We track. DC Motors has a dealership located at Spring Mountain Motorsports, the country club race track near Vegas. We have a DC Motors Radical as well as a GTR, Nicole's race car of choice

As many start young sixteen isn't too old. Depends where you want to go and what you have to spend!

This is true, unfortunately budget is the biggest challenge. Even if you do have the talent.

what kind of racing are we talking about?

If your starting with go-karts, you need
1. Go-kart
2. Money
3. Tires
4. Money
5. tools
6. Money
7. A mechanic
8. Money
9. Fuel
10. Money
11. A trailer w/tools
12. Money
13. Gear (helmet, suit, gloves, shoes, neck brace, etc)
14. Money
15. Replacement parts for after a crash


And I almost forgot MONEY

I have had more than one judge tell me that I THINK I am a race car driver.

Well, if you convinced them you actually were a race car driver and that you knew what you were doing, and somehow they dropped the ticket.. then yeah

Ha Ha! No. I didn't get out of the ticket. I think all chances of that ended when the cop saw my Beltronics shifters!
