    ^^^Exactly!

You remember "trading paint"? When JPM (BMW F1 at the time) and Jeff Gordon swapped cars for a demonstration at the Indy F1 course. The Williams and BMW staff were so impressed with Jeff Gordon's skills, lap time, and technical feedback that Frank Williams offered JG further tests and was serious about an F1 contract. You know why JG did'nt accept? among other considerations, he could not accept the pay cut to go from NASCAR to F1. In F1 6 maybe 8 guys have great contracts, and the rest are just doing ok or paying for their ride. In Nascar, there are probably 20 guys that make F1 money with all their endorsments. Gotta pay the bills?

See, now that's bitchin information right there. I remember watching that show, but never heard about Frank and JG. That's unreal. You've gotta love the "what if's" in situations like that. What if he made the switch, how would he have done.
