Thread: The craziest NASCAR crash I've ever seen

This one happened last year at Texas Motor Speedway just down the road from me.

Qualifying crash, but still pretty bad:



and of course the famous Bobby Allison crash at Talledega in 1987, the reason they now run there and Daytona with restrictor plates:

In that first video, McDowell told me his data said he hit at 187g's... He had some nasty bruising on his shoulders and he was a bit stiff for the next week or so, but so glad to see that he made it out with minimal damage...

Imagine the crowd directly behind the fence, praying that sucker better hold up!
