Thread: GTR850 ARRIVES APRIL 20th

BAD NEWS.... more freakin delays. GOOD NEWS- she should be putting down a lot more power. Still hoping to make it to the event on the 22nd, but the outlook is looking grim. I need to make Gumball readiness my ultimate priority and so I may need to forego the awesome event at Willow that I have been looking forward to in order to ensure everything is don right and not rushed because if anything were to go wrong on the 22nd it would put Gumball in jeopardy. I simply can not do that. I just hope I have another opprotunity should I have to miss the willow springs event to meet up with the guys putting it all together so that we might be able to do something in the near future with the car in its finished form.

Another update: MAJOR carbon is in process of being prepared for Gumball and Redline at the end of May. The car should shed some good weight, have more cooling, and look very different than the last time you saw it. Most of the carbon will not be exposed as is my style with this car (outside of trim pieces and accents), Our gial is to hit somewhere between 3700-3650 wet weight... which is a real challenge considering I am maintaining FULL interior (other than caebon seats it is all oem). W will be announcing a few new Major development partners soon and I will keep you updated as to the state of things as the dates get closer.

looks like a serious car... would be interesting to see what you do to the interior and other weight reduction mods....
