2012 F1 Drivers World Championship
Who's you money on? The odds makers seem to like Alonso.
Alonso: 7/4
Vettel: 2/1
Hamilton 11/2
Webber: 11/2 to 4/1 (Several have Webber in a better position that Hamilton)
Raikkonen: 25/1 (seems like a decent bet considering he has scored points in 8 of 9 races)
Rosberg: 66/1
Grosjean: 50/1 (better odds that Rosberg, Button, and Shumi??)
Button: 66/1
Shumi: 200/1 (seriously? worth a long shot bet?)
Massa: 500/1 (I wonder what Maranello thinks of this?)
So, here we are, a good chunk of the season down. Who is your favorite to win the Drivers World Championship??
I suggest three picks.
#1. Who your heart wants to win.
#2. This person is likely to win, but is the person you REALLY don't want to win.
#3. Who your head thinks will win.
#1. Webber
#2. Alonso
#3. VettelLast edited by Christiancoach; 07-18-2012 at 05:52 PM.

as we've seen it's not only how capable the drivers are but depends so much on the team management. Hamilton got screwed in the last race, because although he drove very well the tire rotation that the team chose for him completely hamstrung him (which is ok with me).
seems the Red Bull team has been making good calls all season long.A successful man is someone who wakes up in the morning, goes to sleep at night, and does whatever makes him happy in between.

Please, please someone beat Alonso!!
Since when did the FIA start giving drive through penalties for avoiding contact?? That crap cost Vettel HUGE! At most, they should have given Button the spot back!

^^ i agree the 20 second penalty is crazy, he was 2nd the entire race, and now is demoted to 5th. pretty shit. we're only half way through the season so there's still plenty of racing left to do.
