    Default Fundraising question

    Hi all,
I'm participating in event this summer raising money for the Boys and Girls Club of Nashua, NH. A percentage of the entry fee goes directly to them, and the rest pays for the event. I had the idea of raising money on the side to go directly to the Boys and Girls club on top of the percentage that already goes to them. My problem/question is this: I see people have websites where people can donate money to a certain cause for an event(such as marathons and what not), how would I go about starting a website for my purpose? My goal is to at least match the entry fee in additional donations. I'm not sure if this was completely clear, so if it needs clarification just post back in here.

    Thanks in advance,
    Stephen

Why not just set them up with a paypal account where the donations go directly to them. I'm pretty sure PP has a donation transaction type rather than cash to a person / paying for good, product, service, etc.
