Blog Transition: Wordpress vs. Tumblr, Which is Better?
So I recently have been tooling around in the blogsphere. My blog will cover mainly everything car related in my region and in near by states. I recently ran into a revelation, or problem depending how you look at it. currently I'm using Wordpress for my blog, but I had someone recently turn me on to Tumblr and its ease of use, especially using social media links. My question is this, which do you prefer? Whichever platform I use going forward I want to make sure there are fellow automotive bloggers to connect with, and I have the proper audience. Useful input is welcome.

Wordpress hands down. There is just too much aftermarket support for it out there. Pretty much any idea or feature you can possibly conceive can be added with a few clicks of a button.

what are you trying to accomplish? i tend to view tumblr, like twitter & facebook, as support for the main brand - your blog. publish your real content on your wordpress blog; and then use twitter and/or tumblr for quick shouts, one-offs, etc.

thanks for the input so far, it has been very helpful. my goal is to highlight events, GTG's and shows in my local region while also producing my own from time to time. basically showing the lifestyle and car culture of where i reside.
