    Go me! Welcome to the Chow blog. We'll kick it off with some architecture!

    Peep this stadium that was just built in Taiwan:








    Yes those are all solar panels! 8,844 of them!

    he “World Games Stadium” holds 55,000 spectators and it cost $150 million to build. The stadium will hold the record for largest solar-powered stadium in the world with it’s 14,155m2 roof. It could potentially generate 1.14 gigawatt hours of electricity every year, enough to power up to 80% of the surrounding neighborhood.

    Thats pretty ingenious. Things like that will hopefully pave the way for future projects around the World. You can have large building that are pleasing to look at. And not only that but they actually give back to the communities that they are built in.
