I VERY rarely read books, but decided to pick up The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson from your recommendation. I must say that it is a truly amazing book! I just started reading it yesterday and will be finished with it today. It totally changes the way you think and really puts things into perspective.
I also bought The Winning Attitude by John Maxwell, which I'm not sure if I'm going to like as much. I am not religious at all and there seems to be a lot of references to the bible and so forth, which I can't really relate to. I really like the style of Jeff Olson.
What other books would you recommend? I was thinking about picking up The Seven Habits of Highly Successful People by Stephen Covey.
Thanks for the motivation!

That's great to hear Rick. I hear yah on the biblical references. I too was wierded out by them in the beginning. Once I understood why it was referenced, it helped a lot. Think of it like a service manual for a car. It is referenced like that as a standard or basis so that there is no ands buts or ifs about it like the manual.
Some other books to get:
Three Feet From Gold, Wild at Heart, An Enemy called Average, Four Pillars of a Man's Heart...these should get you started
If you're married Rick:5 Love Languages, Love and Respect - my top choices
