True promotion comes from above. So don't try to rush the process. Commit your work unto God. Take time to assist the people around you. Whether it's work, school or ministry your opportunity to advance will come in due time. When God promotes you man can't take it away.
Proverbs 16:3 Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.~ Wealth is what you accumulate, not what you spend ~

Proud parents desire their children to resemble them. Likewise, God feels the same way about us. He wants us to walk, talk and behave like Him. The best example of God was Jesus Christ. Live and look like Christ. When we study His Word and spend quality time with Him in prayer we begin to bear a resemblance to His image.
Genesis 1:26-27 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him, male and female He created them.~ Wealth is what you accumulate, not what you spend ~

Sometimes, God rejects the plan we have drafted for ourselves. He has the ability to see past our limited vision. Don't let rejection send you into the pits of sorrow. Some of my greatest triumphs have occurred after I have been rejected or turned down. God loves us! His love corrects us and redirects all of our missteps. Have faith in His plan and stand strong. God's plan will lead you to His best!
Proverbs 3:11-12 My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor detest His correction; for whom the Lord loves He corrects, just as a father the son in whom he delights.~ Wealth is what you accumulate, not what you spend ~

Today take a roll call of who you call friend! Realize who your real friends are and give them your best. Pray for and with them. Love them just as they are. When you realize who you are rolling with, you will discover why God has placed them in your life.
Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.~ Wealth is what you accumulate, not what you spend ~

Today, use the power of "Thank you". Start thanking God now for anticipated blessings. If you are looking for a job, thank Him for your first paycheck now. If you want to be healed from an illness or sickness, thank Him now for a healthy body. Don't wait for the manifestation of your prayer requests. Believe that they already exist!
Romans 4:17 (As it is written, "I have made thee a father of many nations") before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.~ Wealth is what you accumulate, not what you spend ~

Often we are quick to judge, condemn and crucify. When someone has done us wrong we hold grudges and write them off. Don't be the one to cast the first stone. No one is perfect. We have all made mistakes. Love someone with all his or her faults. Forgive and move on. When we give second chances we receive them in return.
John 8:3-7 Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, they said to Him, " Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?" This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, "He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone first."~ Wealth is what you accumulate, not what you spend ~

Many of us want to receive blessings without doing what it takes to get it. We rather go through the "microwave process" instead of enduring the heat and fire of the "oven experience". To be honest who wouldn't? However, sometimes we need to go through the fire to appreciate God's blessings. Pain and frustration may be a part of the process. Continue to push! Pray until something happens. Don't give up! Your decision to press through the process will allow you to receive the promise.
John 16:20-21 Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.~ Wealth is what you accumulate, not what you spend ~

Christians have a mantra, "Favor isn't fair". True favor comes from God and not man. Favor is when the impossible or unthinkable happens to a person who isn't worthy. So, seek to please God. Man doesn't have supreme power! God has the power to influence and change the heart of man. When you seek to please God, you open the gates of opportunity to obtain His blessings.
Proverbs 29:26 Many seek the ruler's favor, but justice for man comes from the Lord.~ Wealth is what you accumulate, not what you spend ~

There is no better time than the present to do what God has chosen you to do. The very thing you are putting off, is needed the most. God will give you everything you need to be successful. Don't continue to procrastination with the "talent" God has given you.
Matthew 25:24-28 Then he who had received the one talent came and said, 'Lord , I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours. But his lord answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.~ Wealth is what you accumulate, not what you spend ~

Merriam-Webster defines a parasite as a person who exploits the hospitality of the rich and earns welcome by flattery; something that resembles a biological parasite in dependence on something else for existence or support without making a useful or adequate return. Re-evaluate your hardware (your soul). Make sure you don't have any files (friends or activities) that can corrupt or damage you. Allow God to do a clean sweep. He will expose and protect you from anything that is trying to take advantage of you.
Psalm 18:30 God's way is perfect. All the Lord's promises prove true. He is a shield for all that look to Him for protection.
