In the World of UV.
Ok.. jumping on bandwagon and start a blog. At least i can complain about something somewhere else other than at my assistant.
Hopefully to update once a week ... daily when it comes to that, but figuring I'm working 15 hr days recently, that might be hard.
so i will try to..
1) Discuss about lousy and useless employees here.
2) Discuss about crazy ideas i have
3) Discuss about useless employees
4) Talk about useless employees.
ok anyways...
swine flu is here, so i brought a whole bunch of masks for everyone to wear at work.. heres one of my PA:

It was her birthday awhile ago. She called in sick so i put her icecream cake in our puny fridge. i had to chisel away the ice so it would fit:

Too bad we came to work the next morning and opened the fridge to eat the cake it was all #(@*ed up.

fixing computer for the 2nd time today... due to some hardware failures the computer at work has been malfunctioning lately... last week i had to pull the plug on the HP/Compaq when it woudlnt boot and it asked if i wanted to restore to previous settings and i said yes, and it said "windows is now formatting the harddrive to factory specs" i quickly pulled the plug on it.. after installing windows and setting everything up, today the computer kept working very slow and rebooting itself. i ran a HDD check and found lots of bad sectors and just decided to go to frys and pick up a new one.
Western Digital 500 GB for $49.99 - Win! new hdd is in and now reinstalling windows and all the software once again... for the 2nd time. ugh!
good thing my data is still safe... but now i forgot all my passwords since i relied on roboform for my password filler.UV

haha. Matte black is an aftermarket option.

You need to turn off the fridge and let the ice melt out of the freezer. You can ruin it by chiseling the ice out.

Stevens Creek ran out of loaner cars so got a Pontiac G6 as a car.
Note to self: Cars other than own can not exit freeways at 50 MPH
Note to self: rental cars can run over speedbumps.
Note to self: the G6 has a shit turning radius.UV

Have you tried taking a jog before you goto bed? Or, dare I say- read the Bible, always puts me to sleep. (Not cracking on it, just saying that it does it for me)
As far as the computer goes- don't know how technical you are, or how many computers you have at work, but you can always create images of your work computer/computers in their "fresh" state when OS is recently installed and all the apps and updates. Then, you can always just reload the image everytime something goes wrong or something happens and save yourself hours of installing programs and junk.
