Thread: 100th Koenigsegg, The Agera R "Hundra"

The first pics of the 100th Koenigsegg have surfaced on the net, albeit renders from the configurator. I think the colors are a little screwed up, because from what I have seen earlier the gold should resemble the old Lotus race cars, but with a clear carbon body underneath. Looking forward to finding out more about this one!

Sick!!

Lotus' black and gold livery is my absolute favorite, albeit followed closely by mazda's green and orange livery on the 91 787B.
An Agera R with the black and gold lotus theme, if done right, will be for sure my favorite egg so far. It will be frickin stunning.

Hard to tell the livery as you mentioned, Apex, but it is certainly a car to look forward to nevertheless. Hope there is some official stuff on it on the Koenigsegg website soon.
Also, is it me, or is the interior stitching gold as well?

I figured the awesome nature of this special Koenigsegg deserved better renders. The pics provided are incredibly dark and hard to see. The info provided however helps, as this beauty will have a bunch of 24 karat gold on/in it. Using all of the info provided, I created an Agera R with the configurator and then pulled the images into pshop. I think the results look worthy of an initial rendering.

^^Now that looks much much better. I think it would be really cool if they did some extra striping or paint work though. I have Senna's John Player Special F1 car in my mind right now, that paint job would be amazing, but probably a bit much.

The Lotus F1 car looks better IMO.


Just do thick gold lines instead of the pin stripes every where. For the front splitter, side splitters and diffuser, do them in gold. Then have thick gold lines that go around the other features of the body. Finish off with gold center bolts. Or do a mix of regular carbon fiber and gold texalium for the body and forget the striping.


I went and did two more renders, one of the side and then the other interior angle. This is how I see the completed car looking, the gold ring on the rim just seems off for a carbon fiber wheel.

Any info on when it is due to leave the factory?
Wonder if this is the car they are bringing to Geneva next year (though not so sure about it)

This is perhaps the most important Koenigsegg ever made, if not the most one of the most. It's going to need an equally important venue to be unveiled. I doubt it's even being built yet, so Geneva would make sense. I would expect more than one Agera R at Geneva, it's the biggest stage of them all. Combine the Hundra with the special 1400 HP Agera R and I think 2013 is going to be a big year. Every brand is bringing their biggest guns to the fight in 2013. So I guess the Mayans were right, the world does come to an end. The world as we know it is destroyed by all the new rides.

Would have been nice if they would had stripped it 100 kilos ( or pounds since its easier ) for the celebration car.. I think the Egg has been bulkin about 150 kilos since the CC8S so maybe its possible.. with wheels saving 20 kilos there is only 80 left.. new seats, carbon suspension, windows etc.. who knows?
