I have a sneaking suspicion that I have an idea of who the original owner might be.
Beautiful pieces, though. Absolutely stunning. LOVE the spinel.Show me an angel and I will paint you one.

this may be a naive question; does gemstone jewelry like this increase in value at all over time or is it pretty much always at a "set" price?

jewelry, diamonds and gold, will go up in time, but some things more than others. some are just the sum of the parts in diamond and gold value, some more. pieces like tiffany and cartier and via ad other big brands will go up AFTER the initial hit for example. look at one of these necklaces, it cost 150 new, you can buy for 75 now, and it will hold or go up from that number, the 150 is gone, but thats because of the brand of them.
you can in theory make the necklace for 75 new, but its not banded tiffany, and thats what holds the value in this case.PM me for special L4P member deals on all diamonds and jewelry and the best deals in new and pre-owned watches from Provident Jewelry!
