    As bad as it sounds, it makes perfect sense. Since they're dyed it won't really matter about clarity/quality as stated somewhere above. I'm still doing a bit of research in various places, I'll see what other info I find.

    I do like the design and the stones are more substantial than the micro-pave that bling blongers sell and wear a lot.

    I could design and make a similar piece, but because I do everything custom and by hand the pricing would be higher. Gold is very expensive right now. That particular piece has a lot of small stones, sometimes its costs more for the setting labor then for the actual stone itself. I could make that piece with much larger diamonds and it would actually be cheaper. Black diamonds are very inexpensive. They are treated by a process called irradiation and another process called HPHT (High Pressure High Temp) to achieve their black color. They dont have clarity, they are literally opaque.
