The ring is pretty, but make sure you inspect the stone really well. An I1 stone means it's "included," meaning you can most likely see inclusions without needing a jeweler's loupe. A round stone may not show the inclusions very easily, but a princess or emerald cut certainly might. Hopefully, any inclusions would be hidden by prongs, but with a flat top stone, you can usually look right through the table.

E color is excellent, you could forgo a color grade or two in order to get a better clarity stone. For a princess cut that size, you would probably want at least an S1 stone.
Is the carat weight listed for the center stone only or is it for the entire ring?

Oh yeah...CONGRATS on your pending engagement!!

thanks for the tips. the carat weight is for the center stone. i have to call the jeweler for the carat weight on the ring cause its not popping up. ill also see what they can do about clarity. ive never looked at diamonds before, so when i was looking i couldnt tell what were inclusions and what werent lol.

You'll know when you see them. They will either be little black specks or white "feathers" - ALWAYS ask to use a loupe to see the stone also - even if it's not visible to the naked eye, you want to know what's going on. At almost 3/4 carat center stone weight with that cut, it'd be hard to hide inclusions. My ring has cushion cut stones and I can look right thru them from top to bottom - with visible inclusions, the facets will mirror them throughout the stone.

The reason I said what I did about color is because the ring is set in white gold, you won't have additional yellowing from the setting. You could go as high as H in color and not really be able to tell with a white gold setting.
