Where to sell a diamond ring?

I have a diamond ring a friend asked me for help with. Supposedly its valued at 10k but I have ZERO clue. Where is the best place to get a quote on it and what info do I need?

I figure one of the jewelry sponsors will chime in!

I can give you some suggestions, where are you located? Does the ring have any type of independent grading report, appraisal, or cert?

talk to some local jewelers to get estimates/quotes. Come back here with #s and im sure someone or some sponsor will give you good advice. Let me know what they offer you along with the specs of the stone (4Cs) and ill help out.

If you have an GIA or EGL cert that came with it, then your better off and we can better estimate what you should get
