Going to Chicago NYE and possibly for a weekend in Oct. I need to book rooms ASAP, but dont want a bad location. Would love to be able to walk to shopping/dinning/nightlife.

I stayed at the W lakeshore back in May. It was close to where my customer was having a show so it made sense. Nice hotel but it was a short cab ride away from everything. I would stay at the city center if i had to go back.

the palomer is in the prime location to all the stuff on ohio, as well as the mag mile.
but the bean, sears tower, and all that are on the other side of the river, which you can either cab, or walk... I tend to just walk around ever whereJEEP: The dirtiest of the four-letter words

W has nice women, but requires a Cab to go out. Let me know if you are going to any clubs, and I can take care of covers.

Wait, if you are coming for nye, you should look into packages. THey have a lot of big parties and room deals. Also, looking last minute on price line, or going through amex is the cheapest way
