Riu Palace Playa Del Carmen - Review
We spent a long weekend at the Riu recently. We rolled with the kids and requested a 2 bedroom suite. We were told this would be no problem.
When we get there we are presented with this:
A one bedroom with a jacuzzi tub and fold out bed. Needless to say I wasn't happy with the accomodations. I went back and forth with management and was told the suite we had was the best they offered. We dealt with the hand given to us and made it work albeit disappointing.
Kids after waking up at 4am to catch a 7am flight......

All in All its a decent spot but I would not return. I am actually done with that area of mexico. The travel is a PITA and frankly I would rather go to FL.

thanks for the pics... beach and pool looks great i must agree...ive stayed at a Riu Hotel before...and i had a similiar experience...
