Thread: New York for Labor Day

I think my girl and I are going to come out to NY for Labor Day weekend. We will probably stay out there for a week. I am thinking like Tuesday to Tuesday. So like Sept 1st through the 8th or thereabouts.

I need to find a hotel recommendation where I do not have to worry about getting murdered, jacked, etc near Randalls Island Park at least on the 5th and 6th of that trip. They are recommending staying at the Marriot here:

410 East 92nd Street
New York, New York 10128 USA

That is only like 1.5 miles away from Randalls Island but wanted to make sure it was an ok place to stay. It is only 179 a night which is nice too.

Any help would be appreciated!

PM me if you have any questions. I'm not from NY, but do visit every month for business. If you're going with the gf, definitely recommend renting a bike and biking around central park.
