I agree with what you're saying but I just don't watch that many movies. I'd like the option to do it either way.

$500 for 90 minutes worth of entertainment??? At that price it wouldn't be for a movie I can tell you that much

Sorry I havent been on lately. Yes it's 500 per movie that you what. I can understand the people that would wait to watch it a month or 2 after but that wasn't the question. I love apple tv and watch movies that way as well.
Also we were just selected to represent IMAX on the residential end. Coming soon you will be able to have that in your home. But if you think 500/movie and paying for the server is a lot u don't want to know how much this will cost lolPatrick Cannoe

I imagine there are also copyright laws as to having people over to view the movie too.... I wonder how that works.

No copyright laws to worry about. What you do in your residence is your business bottom line. There are very exclusive products out there in the home theater world just like in the car biz. If someone sees value no matter what it is they will buy it
