    Default IR repeater

    Finally moved into my townhouse. I got my LCD screen on the wall in the bedroom and I want to hide the cable box and the receiver in my closet so I have a nice clean look. Can anyone recommend a proven IR repeater? I keep hearing of CFL bulb interference and I have a ton of those in my house. Thanks guys.

    There are a TON on Amazon

    Just make sure you run the right shielded wire

    I just picked up two for about $65.00

    As long as the wire is shielded you shouldn't get interference. Comcast was offering free IR repeaters earlier this year.

    I picked up this Cables To Go/Impact Acoustics 40430 on Amazon, got great reviews there as well as on AVS forums, I will take some pics once I get it mounted and configured.
