    Or have it professionally calibrated.... not the best buy geek squad shit they peddle..... will cost you around $400 but once done should be a night and day difference in your picture.

    I'm about to pick up a 55" Samsung LED 240hz. I've heard they are one of the best.

    +1. Got my LG Plasma calibrated when I got it from Bestbuy and night and day on pic quality

    just go to avs forums. They have threads on there discussing what are the best settings for every new tv that comes out. That's good enough for me!

    For the most part yes. Just remember lighting is different in everyone's house so they may not work as good as a professional calibration. I used avsforums to get my settings for my other tv's but for my basement setup i wanted the true settings per my room.

    I can't mention the forum (aayyyveee essss) but they offer calibration settings for break-in there.
