Hang it on the wall at sitting eye level. Looks small in the pic but my tv is a 55.

The front speakers and center are pukka but the rear, the sound will be going to the ceiling rather than just about your Ears. Not sure if you read home cinema choice or any other Home theater magazine but it it is worth getting, since it explains in more details about how sound travels in regards to home theater entertainment etc.

anyway, back to the TV/cinema area...

    37" 1080HD Samsung LCD telly.
Onkyo 607 amp, Q-Acoustic 1010i 5.1 speakers + the Yamaha sub for extra bass. BTvision and samsung blu-ray player.

previously I had the all-in-one Denon system that I was more than happy with, but wanted a bit mpre now I'd had that a few years. but when I fitted the deon in the new house I lost the speaker wires in the wall for the rears and front speakers wire when up the stands, so no need to chop out plaster. Problem was I didn't leave enough spare wire coming up from the carpet to easily pull outthe TV stand if I needed to get to the rear of the units.

So I bought a 5.1 face plate and soldered all the speaker wires to the back of that,
one of these... from Nexxia Audio Solutions - Perfect Solutions for Quality Sound

(I used a wall mount electric back box instead of chopping the wall out to fix, so it is moveable if needed)
then banana plugged 5 lengths of wire about 15" long so I could connect to the back of the Onkyo them banana plug to the wall 'face plate'.

enough waffle .. here you go

    rear left (Q-Acoustic speaker brackets).

had a bit of major touching up and filling the wall afterthe single arm speaker bracket used on the Denon wouldn't come off without me making a big hole in the plaster board, so lucky I had paint touch up colour (orange) and I still had some of the top colour scumble colour

    how it was before

    rear right

front left + front right with sub next to it

2nd Sub (Yamaha) this is to the left of the seating possition 2/3rds between the front left and right rear speaker.

TV with green LED mood lights

We only sit about 6 foot away from the TV, directly facing it, so our room has a 'square' feel when it comes to the surround sound effect.

    any possitive or negative comments???
