I'm partial to sony... I know people say it's just a brand name, but they have quality TV's and I've had 0 let downs with the ones I've had/have. I currently have a 32" Bravia LCD in the bedroom and then a 52" in the living room.. the only thing I don't like about them is some of the TV shows that are on them. There are a ton of great brands out there though.. so just go and look at them hooked up and find one that you like.

I have all Pioneer Elite's but if I was in the market today, I would checkout the XRB series from Sony.

42 inch 1080p 120hz Vizeo. I really like it so far. I did my research and they dont have the same problems they used to.

52" Samsung LCD in the Den, older 2nd from top of the line at the time. Wonderful TV. There are others around the house, but I never watch them.

I have a couple of pioneer elites(42"&60"), and also a couple of samsungs(1 plasma and 1 lcd)

I really like the elites, Hook it up to a blu-ray and I think it's one of the best pictures you can get. If you want something a little cheaper the Samsungs have a pretty crisp picture too.
