LG's 55 LED with wireless display 55LM67000 I think is the model number. Great TV with easy firmware update and wireless surfing, streaming is almost as fast as a PC. Picture quality is close to Samsung's 7000 series even though it is only 120hz. It's the only TV that has wireless display from PC to your TV.

Congrats! Loving my 60" LG Plasma
Wireless streaming of photos and video from my Android is simply bananas! Plus sticking in a flash drive with tons of HD video is ginormous. And yes, the firmware updates wirelessly on a regular.

Yes, LG has improved a lot in quality lately. They sucked a few years ago but have really stepped up. Price point is almost 40% off of Samsung. The WiDi technology not only does streaming of your media files, it streams your PC desktop. I watch a lot of flash content (hate downloading) so this was something I have waited for years.

Sony has good picture quality but their technology behind. Samsung continues to lead the LED tvs but prices are getting out of hand ($2-3k for 55 and 60). LG was a better value for me.

Those diehard plasma will still appreciate the color and motion rate. I have a bright room so plasma wasn't an option.

40" Sony Bravia in the living room
    32" Samsung in the bedroom

I like them both but the Sony can't read avi or mp4 movies while the Samsung can...
