    Default Epson Ensemble HD 1080 Projector - Any good?

    Wondering if anyone has the Epson Ensemble HD 1080 Projector system? Thinking of getting one for our loft and seems like a turn-key package...

    Here's what it comes with:
    * Epson PowerLite™ Home Cinema 1080p projector with integrated surround sound speaker cradle
    * 100-inch, electric screen with integrated LCR speakers
    * Custom-designed Atlantic Technology 5.1 surround sound system and 10-inch subwoofer with all channels of amplification
    * Audio/video controller with dual HDMI inputs and 1080p up-conversion with built-in progressive-scan DVD player
    * Pre-programmed LCD remote controller
    * All mounting brackets, cables and wire management tracks

    Any advice is appreciated, thanks

    Just bought one of these for our place in Tahoe. Whole house is under a remodel, so I haven't been able to use it much, but from the few hours I have, its been great. We were looking for an easy to buy/set-up/use package, which it fits perfectly.

    Cool, my thoughts exactly. Let me know how you like it after you use it more. I'll probably pick one up when our place is finished getting built. Thanks for the input!

    It is a great home theater in a box concept. It wont push a 100db, but it does sound great and look great. I have installed it in a number of higher end condos.

    would you rather do this projector or go with a 55-65" plasma or lcd with a surround sound setup?

    Depends on the room. It is a very good looking projector and it works well in a situation that is hard to install / retro into. The only thing to keep in mind is the sound, it is ok but that is it just ok. If like it loud, but the same projector in the non Ensemble package and buy a separate audio system.
