    Default Audio System Indoor/Outdoor

This may seem like a dumb question or thought process but here is what I'm looking to do. And I really don't care about super expensive high quality, I just want something that works.

I want to add a system that does the following:

    Controls 5 areas of speakers
    Sounds for TV/DVD/Radio/IPOD
    Indoor and Outdoor speakers

I heard that you can buy the Apple Airport Express and stream my itunes plays from my iphone to the receiver? Is this true and what/how do I do this? If it can't be done how do I setup a multiple location docking stations indoor and out?

Also TV is mounted on the wall with wires going into a closet area for electronics, what is the best wireless remote station so I can still operate the electronics with them being hidden?

Ok that went in a few different directions but there it is.

    Thanks.

    Rex,

For more info on the Apple Airport Express Solution see:

Apple - AirPort Express - Features - Music Sharing

It doesn't stream from your iPod, rather it streams from your iTunes library located on your computer (so the computer does have to be on all the time). The Touch/iPhone remote is just to control the computer...

FULL DISCLOSURE: I am part of the team that makes the below product.

Or you may want to check out what we do:

    Logitech Squeezebox

Not only does it stream music located on your computer, but if you use Rhapsody, Pandora, Slacker, etc... It will stream music from these services as well! All the devices can work together to form a whole-home audio system.

Mods, please feel free to delete this post if I have violated any rules.

There are many ways to do this. Simplest, least expensive might be to use a 6 zone speaker selector unit. For controlling equipment that is hidden I would suggest this:
    Universal Remote Control Model PowerPak

Do you want to be able to hear different sources at the same time in the different areas, or is just one OK?
