All I know is that the screen on my macbook pro is LED, and it is incredible!!

I know that LED is brighter and uses less energy.No Doubt!

My friends office is designing the next generation of Samsung LED TVs. He says the LED screen is the only way to go.

LED looks great but it needs one or two more generations before it hits it's real potential. I went for a high-end Hitachi Ultra Thin LCD this time. I will move it to the bedroom once LED improves and grows over 65". Sony's OLED is the leader right now if you want the best between LED or OLED today. But either of these are like buying Plasma in 1998. It is cool and looks good, but it will get soooo much better in a year or so.
