My father is having a medical procedure done while I am there. They are hoping to do it on Monday 2.09.09 if he is strong enough. I might book a day or two early to come see you. I don't want to plan for anything post the procedure in case there are issues and I have to be with him witch is the whole reason for coming down this time. So we have to play it by ear a bit.
Do you have a detailed scope of work? If so, scratch anything out that is private (names addresses) and email it to me. I will be happy to review it.

My cousin works for these guys, a bit pricey but it's good stuff!
I have my PC hooked up directly to all my diplays, so I've just been going the ghetto route and storing all my movie files on external hard drives. I've been considering trying some of the movie server 'front ends' to help with browsing and locating a specific movie, but haven't bothered yet...Last edited by StreetPreacher; 01-27-2009 at 06:03 PM.

I also have a Kaleidescape system at home loaded with about 300 DVDs. I just ordered 2 more 1TB disks. I am really looking forward to their Blur-Ray upgrade.
At our office we are also testing the Escient Vision system and the Request IMC system. I will update here on what I think about them. I have played a bit with the Vision system. It seems to work fine and we will finally install it in a customer's home - BUT it is far from close to the Kaleidescape System.

If you have the cash, K-scape is much better than Escient's server or Request's. Has Crestron's media server been released yet?
