GR2KX Memories...
Finally got some sleep last night. First full nights sleep I've had in almost a week. GoldRush was incredible this year. Got to spend the week with a bunch of incredible guys and gals and made many memories. I took a camera and never got it out of my bag, guess I was too busy driving and trying to keep up with everyone and keep Pun from touching my leg while I drove.
Things I learned on GR:
Rain and 345/25R20 rear tires do not mix at all.
When they say it rains a lot in the PNW, they are not lying.
If you want to speed for five days and not get pulled over... AT ALL... drive a Hugger Orange ZR1 wrapped like the General Lee. Apparently it blends.
You can go a week on 3 to 4 hours sleep a night and still function.
A ZR1 will fit through a redwood tree.
Never do high speed drifts on a dry lake bed with your windows open.
Don't get on a road course with dusty carbon ceramic brakes.
And last but definately not least....
SHHHHHHHHHHH.... JUST LET IT HAPPEN!Thomas... not TJ

I know what you mean. It was a pleasure meeting you and getting to spend so much time with you. Sorry your trip was cut short because of a small breakdown... but in typical GR fashion, you ended up having more than enough help on the side of the road.
Got in yesterday and had to wake up to hang with the wife and kids. Flew in on a full flight and slept so hard on the plane, I had drool coming out of my mouth... sexy.Thomas... not TJ

Haha good times Thomas! Mad props for having the balls to pull of the highway and destroy your car in the dirt. Definitely will never forget the sight of the general lee pitched out in a cloud of dirt.

I'll have to post something in here in the next few days when I regain consiousness and can actually rember where I was for the last week.
Through the fog I remember something about large horned African animals and speaking Russian- TBlackJ, BG, Pun, and Jaegermeister had something to do with it!
Thanks to everyone for a week that I will never forget once I can remember it!Last edited by Sean1; 06-14-2010 at 04:28 PM.
