John is one hell of a driver! We had been playing back and fourth for over 50 miles and let him pass by in that video clip. We had been racing at speeds of 80mph to 160mph. I will not deny in a straight line he would take me but there was never a time he could shake me. I have two large rock chips in my windshield from getting to close to him when we were racing.

Rich, gloss it is right... the z06 did very very well. I had never driven that stretch of road before, but I don;t think this was readily apparent to those following. Rich did one hell of job keeping up, he also handles that car better than just about any other z06 owner I know. I was running only 14 psi due to a broken boost controller connection (I usually run 20 on my street tune and 25 on race gas)... so power was down a bit. But, the z06 is a much much lighter vehicle and Rich has done one hell of a job modifying it with over 600 whp, suspension, and some new rubber (something my gtr desperately needs!!!).

I just realized that zo6 was modded - your cars are FAST guys! I was behind Jon for perhaps the first 25 miles of 58 - his car sounded glorious and was very very fast! Thanks for leading the line, I could count two seconds and just do what you did
