Thread: Grage Paint

What color do you think works best for garage walls?

I was thinking of keeping it clean-looking and paint it white, but that might make it a bit bland.

Suggestions?

EDIT: Is it possible to change the title? I feel like an idiot for misspelling garage.

You can always do a two tone. Top white, bottom gray with a red stripe in between.

The white walls will reflect lighting while the gray will cover any marks on the wall.

I just did all white since it was DIY and I was too tired to mess around with it.

I agree, white is best as it reflects lights which most garages lack.

besure you use a durable paint for at least the bottom 3 ft. as when washing the floors etc, the dirt will splash up onto the walls.

I did high gloss grey for the bottom 3 ft, then a 4"gloss red stripe, then white semi gloss above that.. wished i had done high gloss everywhere!
