    I wasn't there...my room mate was bbq'n on the wooden patio. Weber charcoal bbq about 1 year old bbq...the bottom of the bbq apparently was getting weather by the salt in the air...my room mate was completely done bbq'n and upstair getting ready to eat. My girlfriend and my kids were home at this time. Before dinner my girlfriend told my kids to play outside while dinner was getting ready. 5 mins later the kids started yelling Fire Fire. My roomate and girlfriend ran downstairs and tried to open the door but a backdraft burn her hand so she closed back the door... Both my girlfriend and room mate had to jump out the back window and within and few mins. the house Collapsed. If it wasnt for my girlfriend telling the kids to go play outside everyone would have been dead. Im thankful for their lives... I was driving on my way home at the time.
